See You At NGS Conference? 1

The annual conference for the National Genealogical Society (NGS) is being held in Ft Lauderdale, Florida from May 4 - 7.  There will be over 150 lectures spanning the four days. And there will be over 80 vendors in the Exhibit Hall.

If you are planning to attend the NGS Conference, you can register at: http://conference.ngsgenealogy.org/register/

When you are in the Exhibition Hall, come see me at booth 521. I will be right across from the Find My Past Booth and will be giving mini talks on Scottish Genealogy throughout the four days of the Conference. I will have Scottish Genealogy books and quick guides available for sale. I will be happy to answer your questions about any problems you are having with your Scottish research. If you have any documents you are unable to read, feel free to bring them along and I will see if I can help you decipher them. Come and share your stories!

And, while you are in the neighbourhood, wander over to the In-Depth Genealogist booth. They are across the aisle from me in booth 520. The In-Depth Genealogist will have hard copies of the magazine for you to see or purchase, books authored by the writers of the magazine, a number of In-Brief guides and the chance to subscribe to the magazine.

NGS 2016 promises to be a great learning and networking opportunity. There will be pre-conference tours and sponsored lunches.

If you aren't able to get to the NGS Conference this year, we will miss seeing you, but you can still enjoy the conference from home. There will be 10 live-streamed sessions: http://conference.ngsgenealogy.org/live-streaming-at-ngs2016gen/
