Heather Reed has been interested in history, politics and world cultures since high school. She read any books she could get her hands on regarding Asian culture, religion and history. In college, Heather completed a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History. Heather also completed her M.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in Comparative Government and International Relations. She furthered her interest in all things international by living in Germany for a time and traveling much of Europe.
Heather currently teaches Political Science at a community college in Illinois. She is also a freelance editor who has worked on fictional novels and genealogy books. With the help of genealogist Terri O’Connell, Heather is currently trying to become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and research her mother’s lost paternal line.
