Going In-Depth With MAAGI 2

This week Cheri and the panel discuss MAAGI (Midwest African American Genealogy Institute) with Shelley Murphy and Angela Walton Raji. Some great tips where given during this interview. Shelley shares her So What Analysis Chart and her Timeline (where she uses a word document). We also learned about Angela's new track, Freedmen of the Five Civilized Tribes.

One thing that they stressed is that MAAGI is for everyone. You do not need to be doing African American Research to learn at MAAGI. Those of us on the panel definitely want to attend MAAGI in Fort Wayne, IN in the future!

Meet the Panel:

Marry Kircher Roddy - MKR Genealogy

Special Guests (both from MAAGI):

Shelley Murphy - Family Tree Girl
Angela Walton-Raji - African-Native American

Links Discussed:

Mapping the Freedmen's Bureau

We hope you enjoy this episode.
